People as a Differentiator for Your Company

by | Oct 21, 2013 | PKF Texas - The Entrepreneur's Playbook®

Karen: This is the PKF Texas Entrepreneur’s Playbook and I’m Karen Love. I’m the co-host and founder. I’m here with Laura Nelson today who’s a project manager of Content Active and actually we’re having you back to the Playbook, Laura because cause you’ve been so popular.

Laura: Well thank you, Karen. I’m so glad to be here.

Karen: I wanted to talk to you about the things that you’ve learned during your tenure here in Houston and at Content Active and how you feel like that might have differentiated the company in the marketplace with competitors.

Laura: Well I’ve learned so much working at Content Active, but I think that what differentiates Content Active as a web design and development company from other companies is that we really understand things from the consumer perspective. There’s a lot about technology that’s incredibly complicated and challenging to understand for the average human who hasn’t gone to web development school. I think that the employees at my company really make a notable effort to make our tools easy to use for all different kinds of people no matter what kind of experience they’ve had using websites.

Karen: Right. Well that is really something that’s music to my ears because PKF we say is people are the key to our future.

Laura: Well there you go; they are. You have to make things work for people where they’re at.

Karen: Fantastic. Well thank you for sharing that insight with us and we look forward to talking to you again.

Laura: Thank you; me too.

Karen: Well this has been another Thought Leader production brought to you by PKF Texas Entrepreneur’s Playbook, so tune in next week for another chapter.
