On my recent trip to Amsterdam I had the pleasure of flying Continental Airlines and was impressed by the in-flight selection of entertainment that was offered to me in the Economy Class.
Having a wide variety of movies, TV shows, music, it made my trip even more enjoyable than before.  It certainly helped pass the time.

One of my fellow HTC Advisory Board members, Ravi Kathuria, president of Cohegic, was quoted in a recent Wall Street Journal article about corporate executives who change roles within their company, usually to an unfamiliar area.  Cohegic, a management consulting firm, conducted the poll referenced in the article.

AccoutingWEB recently completed a survey of their readers, asking "What will the U.S. economy do in 2011."  Most of the readers had a positive outlook on the economy.  Only 8% of the respondents had a negative outlook on the economy. 

This mirrors what I’m seeing and hearing in my interactions in the Houston business community.  People are cautiously optimistic for growth in the economy.  How much remains to be seen, but we seem to have started to turn a corner.
