Total Energy USA is coming to Houston November 27-29, 2012. It is a conference assembling all the energy sectors–fossil, renewable and nuclear–to give you a comprehensive look at different energy solutions that will generate energy business and help to address today’s energy challenges.

The conference is being backed by Mayor Annise Parker, Shell, Waste Management, the Greater Houston Partnership, the Houston Technology Center and many others, including PKF Texas. We think this is an important event for our city and brings a different perspective from other energy conferences held in the city each year.

On the second day of the conference, Wednesday, 11/28, Gary Voth, PKF Texas Tax Director, put together a panel, “Financial Planning for Energy Companies in Uncertain Times.”  The confirmed panelists include:

They will tackle strategies that energy companies can use and are using to plan, financially, in very uncertain times in the energy business. This will include: global markets and geopolitics, domestic energy markets, U.S. political uncertainty, the regulatory environment, U.S. tax policy and capital markets.

As a sponsor, PKF Texas has a special code you may use when you register for the conference to receive a $100 discount. When you register, enter TEU1.  Also, Early-Bird registration goes through next Friday, 10/26, so you’ll want to register before then to maximize your budget.
